Corn N Oats Vegetable Cutlet

Rolled Oats, which are commonly referred to as just "oats" are crushed grains of oat that have been rolled into flakes. The flakes are steam treated in order to soften them and make it easier for the body to digest the grains.One hundred grams of dry, rolled oats contain about 380 calories, corn are also rich in carbohydrate...these cutlets tastes too good..


1cup Rolled Oats
1/2cup Corn Kernels
2nos Potatoes
1no Carrot
1no Onion
5nos Curry leaves
2tsp Coriander leaves
1tsp Red chilly powder
1tsp Garam masala powder
1/2tsp Fennel seed powder
Salt
2tbsp Corn flour
1/4cup Bread crumbs
Oil for shallow frying


Pressure cook potato , peel the skin n smash them with ur finger, peel the skin of carrot n pressure cook too, smash once they get well cooked...heat a cup of water add the rolled oats n cook for just 5minutes, strain them n keep aside,squeeze out excess of water..chop the onions finely..heat a tsp of oil n fry the chopped onions with curry leaves until they turns transculent..cook the corn kernel in hot water r else use the tinned corn kernels..


Take a large bowl, add the smashed potatos, cooked n smashed carrots, cooked rolled oats, corn kernels, fried onionsn curry leaves, coriander leaves n also the spice powder with enough salt..take a small ball n flat them as cutlets..finish everything as cutlets;.

Mix cornflour with water n make them as thin batter, dip the cutlets into the cornflour batter n roll them well in breadcrumbs to get covered well..

Heat oil for shallow fry n fry them until they turns brownish colour..serve hot with ketchup r else as side dish for any choice of Rice dishes...
