RM#2 Day 3 - Eggless Banana Chocolate Chips Cake - My 200th Post

Hurrayyyyy!!!! My 200th post !!!..am happy for posting my 200th post also i crossed 20,000 hits today..needless to say how happy i am..i crossed another mile stone in my blog journey, hope to cross more n more.. Thanks to all friends, bloggers who were all helped me to make this..

Eggless Banana Chocolate chips Cake, easy to prepare without eggs but yoghurt, oil n with flax seed meal..The banana shares many benefits, it’s low in calories, fat, sodium, and much of its fiber is soluble ,can help lower cholesterol. It stands out, however, because it has lots of potassium and a respectable amount of magnesium. That’s why it’s a favorite fruit of most athletes and often is recommended for people with diarrhea or high blood pressure.Bananas are also a very good source of vitamin B6, providing one-third of the RDA in a single serving. It’s a tropical fruit, a large berry, that’s handy and healthy, providing 452 milligrams of potassium, 33 milligrams of magnesium, and just over 2 grams of fiber. Studies have shown that people with high levels of potassium in their diet have a lower incidence of hypertension, even if they don’t watch their salt intake. The more cocoa in chocolate, the more cholesterol-lowering antioxidants called flavanols..the recipe starts like this...

2cups All purpose flour
1cup Sugar
1/2 cup Thick Yoghurt
2nos Ripe Bananas
1/4cup Chocolate chips
1/2cup Sunflower oil
2tbsp Flax seed meal
6tbsp Hot water
1tsp Baking powder

Preheat the oven at 350F for 10 minutes..take the yoghurt, sugar n sunflower oil in a large bowl..whisk everything well until they turns soft, mix the flax seed meal n hot water into thick paste..mash the bananas into thick paste, add the flaxseed paste n banana paste to the bowl n mix along with sugar, yoghut n oil mixture, add the baking powder also..beat everything well for few minutes...add the all purpose flour n chocolate chips to the bowl...mix well until they turns a thick batter...

Grease the cake mould..pour the cake batter to the mould...arrange the mould in the middle rack of the oven..bake them for 30 minutes r else insert a toothpick, if its come out clean, the cake is done..baking time may differs according to the oven..

Delicious Cake!!!
