Kasuri Methi Aloo

If u dont get that much easily fresh methi leaves, dried methi leaves are really very handy and easy to prepare dishes and its replace very much the fresh methi leaves, i fond always for bitter foods, as it well known for their health benefits, for me its kinda hard to get fresh methi leaves from the Indian groceries as i dont go often there, also i dont have patience to grow up in my balcony..My pantry had a big bottle full of this kasuri methi (dry methi leaves) which i bought them in Indian grocery long back, i make rarely foods with this kasuri methi but sterday i wanted to prepare something with this kasuri methi along with potatoes and voila am here with my kasuri methi aloo which tastes prefect with curd rice, its very quick to prepare and the complete dish get ready in less minutes..

Kasuri Methi Aloo

5nos Potatoes (pressure cooked & cubed)
1no Onion (big & chopped finely)
2nos Garlic cloves (crushed)
1tsp Red chilly powder
3tbsp Kasuri methi leaves (crushed)
1tsp Coriander powder
1/2tsp Cumin seeds
Salt
Oil

Heat enough oil, let crack the cumin seeds, add immediately the chopped onions, crushed garlic cloves, sauté until the onions turns transculent, add the cubed potatoes, red chilly powder, coriander powder with salt, toss everything gently in high flame and put the flame in simmer, cook for few minutes..finally add the kasuri methi, give a stir and put off the stove..

Serve warm with rice or rotis..
