Vegan Rice Krispies Oatmeal Cookies

Recently i bought a pack of Kellogg's rice krispies for breakfast, for my surprise none at home want to have them for breakfast n the pack was look sadly to me to do something with them...thought of making cookies with those krispies, i went on to prepare cookies as vegan with canola oil n applesauce..these cookies turned out really very crispy, tasty n healthy...

1cup All purpose flour
1/2cup Rolled Oats
1/2cup Rice Krispies
4tbsp Apple Sauce
3tbsp Canola oil
1/2cup Powdered Sugar
1/2tsp Baking Soda
1/2tsp Vanilla extract

Take a large bowl, add the apple sauce, oil, powdered sugar , mix them well with ur hands, add now the all purpose flour, rolled oats, rice krispies, baking soda n vanilla extract n knead them as dough, no need to add water...if the dough is bit sticky, grease ur palm n make small balls out of the dough n flatten them as cookies..

Preheat the oven at 220C....place a parchement paper to the baking tray, arrange uncooked cookies, leave some spaces between each cookies n bake them for 20-25 minutes r until they turns brown..

Healthy, Crispy Cookies!!!!

I have never made cookies with rice cispies. They look delicious. Love the way you have stacked them up.

They wouldn't eat Rice Krispies?! That was my all-time favorite cereal when I was a kid. So I know I would love these cookies. Thanks for a really fun (and healthy) cookie, Priya!

Very neat christmas gifts indeed. If you can get puffed wheat there, you can try that too instead of rice krispies. It does not taste "healthy" like some healthy stuff does. They are crispy too. Children will benefit from the additional fiber.
