Broccoli & Potato Curry

Simple curries doesnt need many ingredients to cook up,one among those simple, quick, easy at the same time healthy side dish to enjoy with rotis or rice is this broccoli and potato curry, there were some broccoli florets sitting in my fridge with which i cant even make soups or anything else, so that i combined along with potato chunks to prepare this simple curry, even my little one loved this curry with hot piping rasam and papads...Personally i felt this curry was one of best and better way to sneak this healthy broccolis rich in antioxydant..

Broccoli & Potato Curry

2nos Potatoes (cubed)
Few broccoli florets
1no Onion(chopped)
1/2tsp Mustard seeds
1/4tsp Urad dal
Few curry leaves
1tsp Red chilly powder
1tsp Coriander powder
Salt
Oil

Heat enough oil,let splutters the mustard seeds, urad dal, add immediately the chopped onions, sauté until they turns transculent, add immediately the cubed potatoes, curry leaves, sauté for few minutes, now add the red chilly powder, coriander powder, salt and enough water, cook the potatoes until they get half cooked, finally add the broccoli florets and cook until the potatoes gets well cooked, dont overcook the broccolis..put off the stove and enjoy as side dish..
