Gingery Berry Soup

Fresh gingery berry soup, a delicious soup with fresh strawberries, fresh raspberries, yoghurt, orange juice with honey, i have came across this gingery berry soup in a cookbook..i immediately tried out this gingery berry soup and its tastes delicious..actually the original recipe goes for red currants and black currants fruits which i wasnt able to get now, so i skipped those fruits and tried out simply with raspberries and strawberries..This delicious gingery berry soup goes to No Crouton Required -Berries by Lisa of Lisa's Vegetarian Kitchen...i have alreeady posted a simple and easy strawberry soup here...This soup tastes delicious even if they are served at room temperature and amazing when they are served chilled...Just loved it!! On the way to Priti's Summer Treat..

1cup Strawberry pieces +few pieces for serving
1cup Raspberry pieces
1cup Thick Yoghurt
1cup Fresh Orange juice
2tbsp Honey
1tbsp Ginger (chopped)
1/4tsp Cinnamon powder
1no Star anise
1pinch Nutmeg powder
1tsp Whipping cream

Blend together the yoghurt, strawberries, raspberries and orange juice together...meanwhile heat the honey with some water, add the ginger pieces, cinnamon powder and star anise, bring it to boil and put off the stove..keep aside..after few minutes, strain the honey.. add the ginger flavoured honey to the berry soup and serve with few strawberry pieces, whipping cream and nutmeg powder...

Just enjoy the gingery berry soup!

This berry soup need hardly less than 15 minutes, so its goes to 15minutes Cooking by Mahima, also goes to WYF Quick Meal by EC of Simple Indian Food..also goes to Srivalli's Mithai Mela..
