Hyderabadi Paneer 65

I love hyderabadi style of any dishes..those dishes are always authentic and really delicious dishes to enjoy..who will say no to hyderabadi dishes, me! not at all..I have already prepared Hyderabadi Chicken 65 a long back, my interested towards this amazing cuisine pulled me to try out paneer in place of chicken and i followed the same as i did while i prepared chicken 65 as hyderabadi style..this hyderabadi style paneer 65 tasted fabulous,i served it as side dish for simple jeera rice..both jeera rice n hyderabadi paneer 65 goes tremendously together n we enjoyed having these both delicious dishes for our weekend lunch..This paneer 65 goes to WYF -Side dishes by Ec of Simple Indian Food..

2cups Paneer pieces
1tsp Ginger garlic paste
1/2tsp Fennel seed powder
2tbsp Corn flour
1/4tsp Red food colour
1/2tsp Cumin seed powder
1/2tsp Salt
Oil for deep frying
2nos Green chillies
5nos Curry leaves

To Mix:
1cup Thick yogurt
1tsp Pepper powder
1tsp Garam masala powder
1/2tsp Turmeric powder
Salt

Mix cornflour, food colour, cumin seed powder, ginger garlic paste, fennel seed powder with salt as thick paste with enough water...marinate the paneer pieces with the cornflour paste for atleast one hour..heat oil for deep frying, fry them in batches until they get well cooked...

Heat a few tsp of oil in another pan...fry the curry leaves n slit opened green chillies, meanwhile mix all the ingredients from list (to mix).Once the green chillies gets well fried, add the thick paste of yogurt n all spices... stir them continously in simmer, once they start boiling add the already fried paneer n cook them until the oil get separates, the gravy will turns dry and the paneer pieces will get well coated with the yoghurt gravy..

Hi Priya, oh u r too fast on posts! Two three posts almost a day!! Hey just here to tell u that I made it day before yesterday, the same day u posted this, and it was loved by hub n kids alike..cdn't get a photo as it all got over! :D I used up 8-10 cubes from a used Amul frozen paneer+200 gm cubes frozen pack for this..tks for sharing such a tasty recipe..(my query..did u add color to the yogurt as well..mine was a different hue..is it due to garam masala color then? :D )

instead of the ginger garlic paste ....we can also use chopped ginger and garlic ...it will give a better taste....i do the same at my hotel.. :)
