Vegan Hash Browns/Hashed Browns

You might have noticed that past two days am posting breakfast dishes, today is also an another easy breezy breakfast dish prepared simply by shredding the potatoes. This simple shredded potatoes when pan fried makes this addictive hash browns. Hash browns are staple breakfast food at diners in North America, and they are often fried on large quantity through stovetop or grill. In United states, hash browns are referred to shredded pan-fried potatoes and its considered as a breakfast dish, while potatoes diced or cubed, panfried are considered as country fried potatoes or home frieds. People says that hash browns are developed out of Swiss's farmer's breakfast Rosti, this dish is also  hash browned potatoes with meats, vegetables or else cheese.

Coming to today's hash brown, its completely egg free, onion free, and binding agent free, yes i didnt used anything to make this hash browns apart from salt and pepper powder to spice up. I partially cooked the potatoes and grated them finely which i pan fried  in a small frying pan, i usually use for making my temperings. This vegan hash browns makes an excellent super filling brunch when served along with some fruit salad, toasted bread slices and a bowl of warm milk or tea.If you feel bored of eating the same breakfast dishes, give a try to this hash browns, am sure kid's will definitely love this hash browns for their breakfast. In case if you dont have small frying pan, make a large hash brown or use stainless steel cookie cutters to shape your hash browns. These hash browns are my thrid recipe for the theme of this week's blogging marathon. My theme for this week is Do E-N from the List of Breakfast Foods given by Srivalli.Check out the Blogging Marathon page for the other Blogging Marathoners doing BM#41. Sending to my own event Healthy Diet- Healthy Breakfast guest hosted by Nandoo's Kitchen and  to Vegan Thursdays.
