German Vanilla Yogurt Mousse

Quick and simple german dessert, which takes really not even five minutes to prepare and the mousse will be ready within an hour to taste coz this mousse need to set well in fridge..I saw this dessert recipe in a cookbook,i borrowed last week...this delicious dessert go for simple ingredients lik gelatine or agar agar powder, yogurt, whipping cream, sugar, fresh orange juice, vanilla essence..This mousse can be served simply with fresh fruits chunks, caramel or chocolate sauce etc..This dessert suits prefectly after a summer meal, make this mousse earlier and it will be ready for ur dessert after ur lunch..After making out salads, pie and baked potatoes with herbed quark cheese,i was planning to prepare a delectable and easy dessert and this mousse was my first choice since it goes for easy ingredients..Voila! am sending this mousse to AWED-German guest hosted by Lakshmi of Kitchen Chronicles, event started by DK..

2cups Yogurt
2tbsp Fresh orange juice
1/4cup Sugar
1/2tsp Vanilla extract
1cup Whipping cream
1tbsp Agar agar powder
1/4cup Water

Mix the yogurt with sugar, fresh orange juice, vanilla together...heat the water and agar agar powder and stir until the agar agar powder get dissolved..add gradually the agar agar mixture to the yogurt, stir it continously to avoid the lumps..pour this mixture in a bowl and let it cool..

Finally whip the cream until stiff and fold gently to the thickened yogurt mixture and refrigerate for an hour..while serving, scoop out the mousse and serve with fresh fruits and any sauce, i served with peaches and caramel sauce...
