Chocolate Chips Brioche Buns

I never get bored of making brioche with chocolate chunks or chocolate chips, one among my recent bake with brioche and chocolate chips is this beautiful looking chocolate chips brioche buns. Brioche are egg loaded bread which goes for rich sweet bread dough.Brioche, this bread is quite popular among kids and they can have brioche anytime of the day with their favourite spread. Eventhough brioche makes an excellent filling breakfast or snacks, this bread suits prefectly for a sunday brunch.

Chocolate Chips Brioche Buns

I took the idea from a website for shaping this buns, but unfortunately i didnt bookmarked the link obviously i couldnt give the credit to the original recipe where i picked the idea of shaping of this bun. Coming to this buns,I used both white and dark chocolate chips for making this cuties, i used just an egg in the dough i didnt went for egg wash for the crust. Giving a shape to a bread dough is definitely an interesting part of home baking. Kids will be definitely go crazy if they saw this brioche buns as they ressembles quite like brioch trees, this is how my young one named this buns.Yes my younger boy called this brioche buns as brioche trees. These cuties are going to be a part of this April mega marathon am running with my other marathoners.

Meanwhile take the flour, egg, sugar in a large bowl, add gradually the foamy yeast and turn everything as a soft dough, now add the butter and knead everything for 10minutes.

Arrange the dough in a bowl covered with a towel, keep aside for atleast for 2hours until they double.

Divide the dough into 6-7 medium sized balls. Roll each ball as medium sized circles. Sprinkle generously the both chocolate chips.

Give a press and fold it as shown in picture and follow the process as shown in this picture.

Transfer the shaped brioche buns to the baking sheet lined over a baking tray.

Keep the baking tray in a warm place for half an hour.

Preheat the oven to 350F for 5minutes.

Brush the buns generously with the milk.
