Easter Brioche Nest/Brioches Nids de Pâques

Happy Easter wishes to you all..

Easter is around the corner and here all the shops are loaded with Easter special chocolates. Kids just love Easter especially for a long weekend as this Christian festival falls always during weekends and one more reason is chocolates (shaped like eggs). You can see these sorts of shaped chocolates only during Easter hence kids will wait eagerly for this festival. After this Easter Bunnies and this Easter Special lamb Brioche, this time Defi Boulange, a fabulous bread baking event by Nadia and Manue challenged the member of this group with this Brioche nest especially for this Easter celebration. This Easter Brioche nest is quite easy to make, even the shaping of this edible nest is really a very easiest one. Apart from colouring the raw eggs, this brioche goes for easy ingredients we usually go for making brioche dough.Sending to Srivalli's Anniversary Mela.

Brioches Nids de Pâques, Easter Brioche Nest

Colouring raw eggs takes just half an hour to get ready. I used four different food colouring to colour my eggs. Just mix few pinches of colouring with a teaspoon of vinegar, add some water and drop the eggs in. If you are using different food colouring, dont forget to prepare your food colouring in different glasses. Once the eggs gets well coloured, remove them from the water and pat dry the excess of coloured water with a paper towel, keep the coloured eggs aside. This raw eggs gets cooked while baking.Handle gently the coloured eggs before baking. This Edible nests are my fourth post of this month's Mega marathon as we are running a whole month of blogging with baking as theme.

I am guessing you have to peel off the shell while eating the bread. Would the colors have seeped inside or does it stay white?
