Coriander & Baby Potato Pulao

Coriander and baby potato pulao, this delicious combination tastes fabulous when served just with potato chips..This pulao made with coriander paste and the already cooked potatoes cooked along with this coriander paste tastes yummy, also this pulao is quite an easy pulao to make out and i prepared this pulao in rice cooker, i just used a pan to saute the veggies and coriander paste and cooked everthing in rice cooker...As i used grated coconut for making out the coriander paste,i just skipped coconut milk for making out pulao and used beaten curd for preparing the rice part...Delicious pulao to enjoy and a prefect lunch box menu, tastes marvellous with simple raita or potato chips...This yummyilicious pulao goes to my own event Cooking With Seeds-Cardamom Seeds..

2cups Basmati rice
1no Onion(chopped lengthwise)
2nos Whole spices (bayleaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks & cardamom)
15nos Baby potatoes (cooked & peeled)
1cup Beatened curd +2cups Water
Oil
Salt

To Grind:
1cup Coriander leaves
6nos Garlic cloves
1inch Ginger pieces
1/4cup Grated coconut
2nos Green chillies
3nos Dry red chillies
1no Cinnamon stick
1no Cardamom
1/2tsp Cumin seeds

Grind all the ingredients from the list 'To Grind' as fine paste...Meanwhile heat a pan with enough oil, add the whole spices and fry until they turns brown, add the chopped onions, saute everything well until the onions turns transculent, add the grounded paste and cooked baby potatoes until the raw smell goes away..meanwhile wash and soak the basmati rice with beaten curd and water, let them sit for half an hour...drain the soaked curd-water, pour this curd water to the cooking spices & baby potatoes...

Bring everything to boil and add the soaked rice..cook for few minutes and transfer the cooking rice to the rice cooker container and push the button to cook the rice.. Once get ready, serve hot with raita or any spicy side dish..
