Chicken N Veggies Tortilla Sandwich

Tortilla is a flatbread made from corn or wheat, the word tortilla is a spanish word which means round cake..Tortillas have been used from many centuries particularly in Mexico and now they are consumed all over the world specially in United States...Tortillas are most commonly prepared with meat to make dishes like tacos, burritos and enchiladas..Toritllas can be eaten in US with many combinations such as with beans, meat also with fruits and sugar, sometimes with peanut butter, while the flour tortillas are used to make sandwiches, casseroles, stew and hot dogs..Mexican do prepare dishes with their own home made tortillas while americans used to have store bought tortillas for their dishes...Tortillas come in different flavours and colours because of the kind of corn is used to prepare them, its one of the staple food of mexico..I recently tried out dishes with storebought tortillas and we really like it..Am still wasnt able to try home made tortillas, will definitely try them out soon..Here is my version of tortilla sandwich which i prepared twice at home..while i was searching something for Divya's event i want to prepare this tortilla sandwich since it was a big hit at home..

4nos Tortillas (i used the yellow corn tortillas)
1cup Chicken chunks
1/4cup Tomato (cubes)
1/4cup Sweet corn kernels
1/4cup Green or red bell pepper pieces
1tbsp Mayonnaise
1tsp Tomato ketchup
1/2tsp Pepper powder
1/4tsp Salt

Cook the chicken chunks in boiling water with salt, drain the excess of water and shred them as medium size strips, add the tomato cubes, sweet corn kernels, green bell pepper pieces, mayonnaise, tomato ketchup and pepper powder to the chicken pieces and mix everything well, keep aside..

Heat the tortillas on both side in a hot pan until the brown spots appears..put off the stove...Arrange the chicken and veggie mixture to the middle of the tortilla and fold them as wrap..

Serve this tortilla sandiwh with simple salad!
