Eggless Mango, Chocolate Chip Mug Cake

If you have a sudden craving or dont have oven at home, am sure your microwave oven will help definitely to satisfy your tastebuds. I have been cooking loads of dishes through microwave oven which gets cook easily with less efforts and sometimes even in less time. Especially mug cakes, they take hardly 2-3minutes depending upon the quantity of the cake batter you have poured in your mug. If you want to make a small size individual cake with less ingredients, microwave cooking will definitely helps you a lot. But i recommand to get silicon moulds if you want to make small sized cakes either for a sudden craving or else for an individual cake. However this gadget will definitely helps you a lot if you are planning not to spend much time in your kitchen especially during summer days..Sending to Srivalli's Anniversary Mela.


Eggless Mango Mug cake


You may wonder, why am talking about microwave cooking, i have a reason for it. After a long blogging marathon, from this week we are starting our usual three days of blogging marathon. And my theme for this week is Cooking substitutions. Yes i will be sharing few easy breezy ideas to substitute if you dont have a particular gadget or any specific moulds. My today's contribution goes for peoples who dont have or dont know how to bake a cake with usual oven. Eggless Mango, Chocolate chips Mug cake


4tbsp All purpose flour
4tbsp Milk
1tbsp Oil
3tbsp Mango puree
4tbsp Sugar
1/2tsp Baking powder
1/4tsp Baking soda
2tbsp Chocolate chips

Mix the milk, oil, mango puree in a mug, add in the sugar and mix everything well for few minutes.

Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and mix everything for few minutes.

Fold in the chocolate chips and top the cake batter with few chocolate chips.

Cook in microwave oven for 2 minutes.

Remove the mug and enjoy warm.

  3. Though i am not a fan of mw baking it surely nos a wonderful substitute when you need to bake and ovens not there. Perfectly made the mug cake is tempting.
