Pizza Quesadillas/Fusion Pizzadillas

When Pizza and quesadillas meet together, obviously the final result will be Pizzadillas or Pizza Quesadillas. My kids are crazy fans of Pizzas, and nothing can beat the homemade pizzas na. However i plan myself to make pizza crust often at home with different grains in it, so that i can feed my kids easily pizza with healthy grains in it. And do you know that these homemade pizza crust base can be freezed easily which will be really handy to use whenever you feel like making a pizza party at home. Thaw the pizza crust and top them with your favourite toppings and your pizza is ready to bake. Trust me this works awesome for me. But in case if you dont have time to make your own dose of pizza crust, dont worry. Now you can dish out some delicious, cheesy, extremely addictive and dangerously tempting pizzas with some store bought tortillas.

Zucchini Quinoa Kebab Wrap/Fusion Zucchini Kebab Wrap

This Week's posts are going to be Wraps and Rolls, yes this week's theme for the first week of blogging marathon of this month is Wraps and Rolls. Wrap is a kind of sandwich which is made usually with soft flatbread like tortillas, lavash or pita flatbreads. Most of the filling for making wraps calls for cold meats or seafoods stuffed along with lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, sauteed vegetables or grilled onions with cheese and a sauce. Wraps makes a super filling meal as they are loaded with meats and vegetables in it. However many vegan and vegetarian wraps do exists and you can stuff a wrap with any sort of filling. I have been making wraps at home either with homemade tortillas or else with store bought ones. And am kick starting this week's blogging marathon with a fabulous super healthy and definitely a fusion kebab i have prepared at home with both zucchini and quinoa.

Cheesy Black Beans & Potato Quesadillas

Black beans have been my all time favourite since i started loving black beans based Mexican dishes. If i plan to make some Mexican foods at home i cant think more than soaking black beans to cook with. Black beans makes excellent dishes and many Mexican dishes have this beans. If i plan Quesadillas, how can i keep myself away from black beans, obviously my today's post is completely from Mexican cuisine. Potato and black beans combination, works awesome as filling for making some super satisfying quesadillas. Quesadillas have been adapted to many different styles. In many countries like United States, many restaurants serve them as appetiziers. However many variations do exists and now many vegetables like zucchini, spinach or else tofu is also added for filling. Even dessert quesadillas do exists with chocolate, caramel, butterscotch with different fruits in it.

Cheesy Mushroom Burger

We are great fans of button mushroom, obviously this mushroom have their place in my fridge. Whenever i feel like eating something different, i dont forget to prepare different dishes out of mushroom and its been a while my younger one requested me to prepare some burger out of his favourite mushroom. When i picked Bring them on burger as theme for this week's blogging marathon's theme, i couldnt skip myself dishing out a super cheesy burger with mushroom. Easy to make, this burger will definitely please anyone's tastebuds.I felt personally its one of the easiest way to feed mushroom to everyone.

Spinach & Rice Meatless Burger/Palak Rice Burger

If you would have went through my previous post, you mind have noticed that i have been running this week's blogging marathon with Bring them on burger as theme. I couldnt resist to prepare a meatless burger with some blanched spinach leaves and mashed leftover rice. Both works awesome and this patties came out extremely delicious and super healthy. This gluten free patties are seriously very easy to make. Just blanched and chopped spinach leaves and nicely mashed rice spiced with garam masala powder, chopped green chillies and sauteed onions makes this fantastic patties, when served along with homemade burger buns trust me this meatless burger will definitely please everyone's hungry tummy.

Mini Kidney Bean Burger/Mini Rajma Burger

This week is going to be Burger, Burger, Burger. Yes i picked Bring them on burger as theme for this week's blogging marathon. Burger, this word itself makes everyone hungry at home. Obviously whenever i plan to make burger at home i dont hesitate a second to dish them from scratch. Yes from baking the burger buns to preparing the patties i do everything by myself to serve as burger to please my family's tastebuds. However meaty burgers are the most favourite for my younger one, but once a while he love to have some healthy vegetarian burgers as well. When i picked Bring the burger as theme, i immediately planned to prepare some mini burgers for our dinner to serve along with our bowl of soup. Trust me, we had a super filling dinner with this cute burgers and soup.

Potato Masala Stuffed Dosa Sandwich/Dosa Sandwich with Potato Masala

Today its going to be Potato masala stuffed in a sandwich which is later coated with a simple onion loaded dosa batter, sounds interesting rite. Yes my today's post calls for a different breakfast dish prepared in a interesting way. Though Idli and dosas are all time favourite of South Indians, sometimes its quite interesting to dish out those usual idlies or dosas in a different way. I picked a tremendous theme for this week's blogging marathon 'Take one breakfast and make it in 3 different ways'.Obviously i picked idli/dosa batter to make dosa/idli in three different ways, obviously my today's post goes for an ultimate dosa sandwich stuffed with a simple potato masala. Trust me this sandwich is definitely a super filling one, you can pack them very well in anyone's lunch box. Yes this sandwich makes an excellent lunch or dinner.

Black Bean Cheese Burger/Vegetarian Cheese Burger

I tasted burger for the first time when i was travelling to Paris from India, to be honest its was my first worst experience with burgers. However later, burger became a part of our monthly menu, my kids loves burger very much. Earlier i usually get them from stores, but when realized that burgers are not that much difficult to dish out at home i started preparing them myself at home. Though kids loves non vegetarian burgers, i do prepare some vegetarian burgers. Burgers are definitely a super filling meal when served with some salads, however i always plan to prepare burger at home for dinner. Since we all dont have lunch together at home, its better to have burger altogether for dinner na. However kids loves burgers very much with their favourite french fries. When i picked Black bean as the ingredient for this week's marathon, the first dish came to my mind is Black bean burger.

Vegan Peanut Butter & Jam Puffed Spelt Cake Sandwich

Peanut butter and jam sandwich is our family favourite, this sandwich have its own place in our weekend brunch. When i picked sandwich without bread as theme for this blogging marathon, i want to replicate the same Peanut butter & jam sandwich. Since this week's theme is sandwich without bread, i opted for puffed spelt cake. These puffed spelt cakes makes a guilt free snack whenever i feel hungry obviously my pantry will always have these cakes. Puffed spelt cake replace very well those bread slices and this puffed spelt cake sandwich rocks. Simple to make, this sandwich asks for just 5minutes preparation. Yes you read it rite, just spread the peanut butter and jam over those puffed spelt cake, just sandwich them your sandwich is ready to indulge.

Low Carb Cauliflower Crusted Cheese Sandwich/Gluten Free Cheese Sandwich

If you put yourself in a dilemma of dishing out sandwiches with bread, am sure your brain will think twice than ever. Its happened to me recently and i seriously want to come up with three different sandwiches without bread. You may wonder why sandwiches without bread, yes i have picked Sandwiches without bread as this week's blogging marathon's theme. Once i picked this theme, i was quite excited to dish out some interesting sandwich without running behind those bread slices. Trust me, i simply enjoyed this theme by preparing three different sandwiches with interesting ingredients in it. For my today's post, am posting this low carb version of sandwich, yes this sandwich is prepared completely with finely grated cauliflower.

Vegetarian Piadina - An Italian Street Food

Piadina or Piada is a kind of flat bread prepared in Romagna Region. This flat bread is prepared usually with flour, lard or olive oil,salt and with water. Though traditionally this flat bread is cooked in terracotta dish, nowadays this bread is cooked in flat pans or in electric griddles.Do you know that this Piadina have been listed to the Traditional regional food products of Italy of Romagna Region. How wonderful na, by the way coming to my today's Piadina, i opted for a vegetarian version eventhough the traditional version goes for meat and cheese.You can have Piadina either with spicy filling or else with sweet filling like nutella,honey etc. The modern versions of serving Piadina doesnt have limit and many version of Piadinas exists now.

Matar Paneer sandwich makes a healthy and super filling breakfast or lunch for kids. Pack this sandwich in their lunch box, am sure their lunch box will be definitely empty. This matar paneer or mutter paneer is quite an easy dish to make if you have all the ingredients at home. This simple version of matar paneer makes an excellent stuffing for making sandwiches. Trust me, this sandwich is everyone's favourite at home and they vanished very much quickly once i served them. Spicy Chickpeas Sandwich Wrap

Wraps are easy to carry and definitely a filling meal one can have happily even if they are in hurry. Simple to make and healthy as well depending upon the filling you goes for. Most of the wraps are prepared with either meat or vegetables, i tried my hands in making a protein loaded nutritious wrap with a spicy chickpeas filling. Actually i was planning for a grilled vegetable wrap but some cooked chickpeas left in my fridge pulled me to make this super healthy and satisfying wrap. As i told in my previous post, this is my second post of tortilla based dishes. After chimichanga, this spicy chickpeas sandwich wrap was a big hit especially with my kids. H liked it but he asked some shredded chicken salad to have along with, he missed the meat part in this wrap, however we cant satisfy everyone at home.

I have hardly seen people says no to potatoes, this vegetable is everyone's favourite at home. My kids love potatoes in any form and they are ready to have potatoes even everyday. Trust me, french fries are my kids most favourite as like most of the French kids.After Onions and tomatoes, my vegetable basket will definitely have potatoes. This vegetable is versatile,you can just dish out beautiful starter to alluring dessert, if you have potatoes at home am sure you can just dish out a royal feast at home. Coming to today's post, this vegan potato roll can be prepared in a jiffy if you have cooked,cubed potatoes in your fridge. You doesnt need anything apart from chopped onions,freshly grounded pepper powder and salt with oil, your peppered potato roast is ready to be used as filling for making this beautiful peppered potato roast roll.

Toaster Sandwich

I adore few of my kitchen gadgets and i cant survive without them. Since ever i got my toast sandwich maker, this gadget took an important place in my kitchen. Even my younger son prepare his favourite sandwiches with my modest sandwich maker. Sandwiches are easy to make and its satisfy immediately some hungry tummies quickly. Whenever i feel lazy to cook, my sandwich maker comes in rescue.My today's post is a simple sandwich with a spiced mashed potato masala. Cheesy Pesto Bread Rolls/Rouleaux de pain de mie complet au Pesto et au Fromage

Bread rolls, nothing can satisfy a kid's tastebuds. I have rarely seen kids saying no to breads and obviously bread are life saver for many of us, that too when we dont have anything to dish out for evening snacks especially for kids.I have tried couple of bread rolls with different stuffings, but however i found that anything with cheese in bread rolls is a big hit among kids. Few days back, i tried again a super cheesy bread rolls with home made pesto and mozzarella cheese. Pesto gives a fabulous taste this simple bread rolls, if you dont have pesto just stick with our usual green chutney. Any cheese works wonder as well. I went for whole wheat bread slices for making this rolls, which gives an healthy twist to this usual bread rolls.

Channa Aloo Bhaji Burger/Chickpeas Potato Curry Burger Sandwich

If you would have went through my Eggless burger buns recipe, you would have noticed that i told that i served my softy,spongy burger buns with something interesting rather than the usual tikkis. Now you know how i served my eggless burger buns for our dinner. Yes i simply prepared a nutritious channa aloo bhaji aka chickpeas potato curry as much similiar like our humble 'Pav Bhaji' and served the burger buns along with. The sweetness of this buns merge very well with the spiciness of the bhaji and we had a super filling dinner with these both dishes. You can serve very well this semi thick bhaji as side dish with toasted burger buns or simply stuff the buns with the bhaji and enjoy as a sandwich. However we had them as sandwich, even my lil one who is not big fan of chickpeas enjoyed thoroughly this super filling fusion sandwich.

Banana & Maple Syrup Sandwich/Vegan Banana Breakfast Sandwich

Sandwiches, this incredible filling food are definitely a life saver when if you are having a hectic day ahead or if you are in hurry, just put anything in between two slices of bread, pack it and go on. Sandwiches can be prepared in a jiffy, any fruits, vegetables or a simple leftover stir fries can make an excellent stuffing for a sandwich. We love making sandwiches often, obviously they have their important place in our menu. Even a kid can make a simple sandwich with a help of an adult. Coming to today's Sandwich, this breakfast sandwich is definitely one of the easiest sandwich i love to prepare often whenever i feel like adding fruits in my kids diet. Any fruit can suits prefectly for making this sandwich however i'll stick always to the humble 'Bananas'.Usually if my kids skip their breakfast at home, i'll make sure that they eat atleast a sandwich while they are in midmorning break at school. I'll definitely pack them a quick sandwich and drop it in their school bags to have it during their break. Obviously i make varieties of sandwiches just with simple ingredients in it.

Vegetarian Grilled Zucchini Croque Monsieur

Croque Monsieur is nothing a French sandwich prepared with grilled ham and cheese. It is usually prepared in French cafés and bars as a quick snacks. The name comes from the verb Croquer which means to crunch and the word monsieur means Mister. A Croque monsieur served with a fried egg or poached egg on the top is known as croque madame. My today's post is a vegetarian version of this famous French cheesy sandwich. Grilled zucchinis slices are used instead of ham, this vegetarian croque monsieur is our this month's challenge of International Food Challenge ,a monthly event started by two wonderful food bloggers Sara and Shobana,we are landing towards North American Californian cuisine.The host of this month Joanne chosed various California dishes and i picked this vegetarian croque monsieur from her recipe choice.

Paneer Tikka Kathi Rolls

April sounds bit hectic for me, i have few list of stuffs to do and still am lagging coz of lack of time, sometimes am running like headless chicken. Seriously i want a whole month of rest, i know its not going to happen never ever in my life. But its ok am happy with this busy days. Coming to today's post, this Paneer tikka Kathi rolls goes for this month South vs North Challenge an event owned by Divya Pramil, which is landing towards this incredible Kolkatta famous street food. The theme of this event is to exchange an Indian recipe between two teams. One team is Southern team (food bloggers born and brought in South India) and the another one team is Northern team (food bloggers born and brought in North India).Every first of a month, a blogger from each team will challenge a recipe from their origin and the opposite team have to cook the recipe challenged by the other team.

For this month's challenge, Minnie of The Lady 8 Home challenged the Southern team with Paneer tikka kathi rolls, while we the Southern team challenge them with a Kerala platter prepared by Lakshmi Vimala, hope the Northern team will definitely enjoy making this delicious Kerala breakfast dishes. Kathi rolls are wonderful street foods, which can be carried easily and can enjoy them without any mess. They are seriously very filling and am sure if you have them for breakfast you will definitely skip your lunch. Kathi rolls are prepared traditionally with kathi kababs which goes for chicken or mutton chunks but nowadays we can make kathi rolls with varieties of stuffing in it.I enjoyed thoroughly this paneer tikka stuffed kathi rolls for my lunch, trust me its soo filling, even am thinking to skip my evening snacks.Thanks Minnie for this beautiful challenge.
