Death by Chocolate Cheesecake, this recipe name itself says everything. This cheesecake is definitely an irresistible, richest, most chocolatey and seriously a real feast for chocoholic persons. This is one of most favourite cheesecake you should never fail to bake atleast once in your life. Loaded with oreo biscuits, followed with chocolate cheesecake, this ultimate cheese cake is topped finally with a chocolate ganache. Obviously a double bonanza for whoever love to enjoy their chocolate loaded dessert will definitely fell in love at the first sight. You might have noticed that am posting delectable and absolutely sinful cheesecakes during this week. As i picked I love you love you cheesecake as theme for this week's blogging marathon, obviously i couldnt resist to post this delicious cheesecake.
If you are a follower of my space, you might have noticed my love for chocolates, if am planning to make a dessert to my family members, i dont hesitate a second to dish a chocolate based dessert. And this Death by chocolate cheesecake was one of the best ever cheesecake i have dished out,eventhough my space have varieties of cheesecake. Easy to bake and enjoy, this cheesecake is definitely a fantastic dessert to relish after a meal or to slice and serve with your friends and family for a get together. Give a try to this chocolate loaded beauty, am sure you will fell in love with this incredible cheesecake.
Crust:
2cups Crushed Oreo biscuits
3tbsp butter
Filling:
250grams Dark chocolate, chopped
1 tbsp Butter
1cup Cream cheese, softened
1/2cup Sugar
1 sp Vanilla extract
3 Eggs(room temperature)
1/4cup Cocoa powder
1/2cup Heavy cream, room temperature
Topping:
3/4cup Whipping cream
1/4cup Sugar
1/2 cup Chopped chocolate
1/2tsp vanilla extract
In a bowl, mix together the finely crushed oreo biscuits and melted butter.
Press this mixture to the bottom of a 7- inch springform pan and let it sit in fridge for half an hour.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt dark chocolate with butter, stirring until smooth. Set aside to let cool.
In an another large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in sugar and vanilla extract, then beat in eggs one by one.
Beat in cocoa powder and heavy cream until well combined, then add in melted chocolate until mixture is completely smooth.
Pour this filling into the already prepared pan and bake for 45minutes or until filling gets sets.
Remove and let cool 15 minutes, then run a sharp knife around the inside of the pan to loosen. Let cool completely. Keep in fridge for atleast three hours.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cream and sugar, then add chopped chocolate and vanilla. Let sit 5 minutes and whisk the mixture until it turns smooth.
Pour over the top of the chilled cheesecake, let it sit again in fridge until the chocolate gets sets..
Slice and enjoy.

Death By Chocolate was an icecream bowl that we used to order at Corner House in Bangalore! That was literally death in chocolate - that in a cheesecake would be mind numbing. Looks wow!!
