When my cousin sister brought me this popular Hershey's kisses from USA, i could have never thought that i will bake some dangerously addictive stuffed cookies a day. Since i dont get them here in Paris that much easily and its was almost like a treasure for me. Obviously i do take much care and this kisses are sitting in freezer as i dont want to finish with them immediately. I have already baked some classic Peanut butter hershey kisses cookies aka Peanut Blossom cookies with this bite sized pieces of chocolates. My today's cookies are going to be a different one from the usual peanut butter cookies, kids will go crazy if they have their first bite. Yes they will be definitely surprised to see the chocolate candy inside this eggless cookies.

Eggless Peanut Blossom Cookies/Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies
Hershey's kisses, this bite-sized pieces of chocolate are the most wanted ingredient for making this Peanut butter blossom cookies. Actually this cookies is a kind of holiday cookies which is quite a hit among kids. Hershey's kisses have a distinctive shape which looks like a flat bottomed tear drops, this chocolate are wrapped in aluminum foil with a narrow strip of paper protruding from the top. I have been looking for baking this cookies since ages as i couldnt spot out this famous Hershey's kisses here. Finally i decided to drop the idea of baking this cookies as i dont have any other option apart than planning a trip to USA to get these cuties. But fortunately my cousin sister who is living in Michigan travelled to Paris during christmas holidays asked me whether i need anything specific from US. Obviously i didnt hestiate a second to ask her few stuffs which is quite a hard task for me to get them here. She brought me this Hershey's kisses, the original bundt pan with few more baking stuffs.

Yema - Filipino Custard Candy
Just two more days to finish a month of long blogging marathon, you guys would have noticed since 2 september i have been posting different recipes under different themes with alphabets as starting letters.Today am posting with 'Y'as starting letter under International Cuisine as theme. Y letter have very much limited recipes and my choice went immediately to a Filipino custard candy. This candy is quite famous and its available in every markets and shops.
Actually this candy is prepared usually with condensed milk and egg yolk, but some may go for milk powder and omit the egg yolks, seriously with these simple ingredients this candy is ready to munch. Yema is a fantastic gooey filipino candies which gets ready in very less time and these bite sized custard are definitely an addictive snacks or desserts after a meal. This candy is one the popular dessert that many people from Philipines would have carried atleast once in their lunch box or when they visit their friends and relatives. Obviously this yema is a fancy finger foods and you can make these candies with different variations like vanilla flavoured, coffee flavoured etc..However these Yema tastes like our kalakand for me.

Jujubes Candies
We all would have tasted atleast once this wonderful chewy jujubes candies in our life, i reproduced the same tasty candies at home, they were quite easy to prepare at home and definitely nothing will beat the homemade food stuffs na..You can add lemon juice, orange juice or strawberry puree to give different flavours to this fruity gelatin based treats..Needless to say this candies are quite addictive, you wont stop munching them if you prepare them at home..I used gelatin sheets for making this candies with orange juice and orange food colour..5 gelatin sheets are equal to one pouch of gelatin powder, coz gelatin sheets are quite easy to use and give a accurate measurement, thats the reason i used them, you can use very well gelatin powder as well..Am sure that kids at home will definitely enjoy this irresistible candies..
25nos Gelatin sheets (cut as thin strips)
1cup Sugar
1/4cup Water
1/2cup Orange juice (fresh & thick)
Orange food colour (as per need)
Sugar for coating
Butter to grease the mould
Take the water, sugar, gelatin papers together in a heavy bottomed pan, heat them and stir continously until the mixture turns as transparent syrup and put off the stove, add the orange juice and orange food colour to the syrup, stir well...Meanwhile grease any sort of mould with butter, pour this gelatin-sugar syrup to the greased mould and let them cool atleast for 5-6hours..
Remove the cooled candies from the mould and roll them in sugar and keep them aside again for an hour..Arrange them in an air tightened box and enjoy..
