If you searching for a guilt free chips, mildly sweet with a wonderful cinnamon flavour,do give a try to this super inviting apple chips..Finally i made some apple chips yesterday after a long hesitation, needless to say they tastes super delicious, satisfying and absolutely addictive..It took one and half an hour to get baked apart from it,its quite an inviting guilt free chips..I baked two trays of apple chips and they vanished super quickly, we just loved it..Sending to Vardhini's Bake Fest & Srivalli's Snacks Mela..

4nos Golden or gala apples
1/2tsp Cinnamon powder
1tbsp Lemon juice

Preheat the oven to 175F, take a bowl with water and lemon juice, slice the apples with a mandoline and put them immediately in the bowl with water and lemon juice (it prevent the browning)..

Line a baking sheet over a baking tray, arrange the apple slices over tha baking sheet, sprinkle the cinnamon powder over the arranged apple slices and bake for 1 1/2-2hours..

Enjoy it..

  12. in fact you could bake few vegetables to crisps. i had them at a friend's place that they had brought from Australia.
Now that you have tried with a fruit, I am thinking that home-made veggie crisps are possible also!

  40. Instantly clicked on your link when I read "Baked Apple Chips" on Zesty Palette's Bake Fest Round up!

Interesting, but can I reduce the baking time to, say, 20-25 minutes by increasing the temperature & still get the same result?
