Horsegram Chops

Since i tried out crispy rajma balls, i couldnt stop myself to prepare some crispy appetiziers or snacks to enjoy without any guilt for our snacks, yesterday after a long hesitation finally i decided to make some veggie chops with cooked horsegram for our snacks, the final result turned out super delicious...This chops goes for a simple preparation with cooked carrots and potatoes along with horsegram and usual spices..Serve it simply with ketchup, you will definitely have a wonderful snacks, everyone at home enjoyed having this chops with ketchup and these chops vanished within few minutes and we loved it...

Horsegram chops

1cup Horsegram (cooked))
3nos Potatoes (cooked & mashed)
1no Carrots (cooked)
1/2cup Green peas
1no Onion (chopped)
2nos Green chillies (chopped)
1/2tsp Ginger garlic paste
1tsp Garam masala powder
1/4tsp Amchur powder
2tbsp Cornflour
Breadcrumbs (for crust)
Oil for deep frying

Take the cooked horsegram,potatoes,carrots along with garam masala powder,amchur powder with enough salt, meanwhile heat few drops of oil,saute the onions,green chillies together until the onions turns transculent, add immediately the green peas and cook for few minutes until they turns soft..

Add the sauteed veggies to the horsegram-veggies mixture and mix everything well, roll them as oval and keep side.. Make a paste with corn flour and water..dip the rolled chops to the cornflour paste and roll well over the bread crumbs..Keep this chops in fridge for an hour..

Heat enough oil for shallow frying or deep frying, fry the chops in small batches until they turns golden brown, enjoy with ketchup or any hot sauce..
