Chivda, this easy breezy crunchy snacks gets ready very much easily and ready to munch with less efforts.During my last trip to India , i got some packets of wheat flakes, ragi flakes from organic stores. Actually i bought those packets just to make chivdas back home. Both wheat and ragi flakes works wonder for making some interesting quick chivdas. I have prepared this chivda long back and this dish was sitting in my draft since a year. Finally i have a prefect theme to post this incredible chivda. Yes my theme for this week's blogging marathon is Recipes with Wholegrains, i have already posted two incredible dishes with both broken wheat and quinoa. To finish this theme, i couldnt stop myself to post this chivda which was sitting for a while in my draft. If you get this flakes, dont forget to dish out this chivda, as they are extremely healthy.
Though these flakes are very much tiny than the corn or wheat flakes, you doesnt even need much time to prepare this dish. Quick to make, everyone will definitely love munching this extremely delicious chivda for their snacks. Prefect to pack in anyone's snack box, these chivda can please your tastebuds easily. 2cups Ragi flakes
1/4cup Raw peanuts
1/4cup Cashewnuts
1tsp Chilly powder
1/2tsp Sugar
Few curry leaves
1tsp Oil
1/2tsp Mustard seeds
Salt
Dry roast the ragi flakes until they turns crisp.
Heat oil in a pan, let splutters the mustard seeds, add the curry leaves, fry it.
Now add the raw peanuts,cashews and fry in simmer until they turns brown.
Add in the dry roasted ragi flakes, saute everything for few minutes together,put off the stove.
Finally add the chilly powder,sugar,salt, toss everything well until everything gets well mixed.
Munch this crispy chivda.
