This week's blogging marathon theme is Easy 4th July dishes, though French peoples celebrates their National day on 14th July, Americans celebrates their National day on 4th July. Since this day is a National holiday, Americans spend their day often by celebrating either by hosting or by attending a picnic or barbecue. Obviously when you are supposed to prepare something easy and simple to pack for this day, i couldnt think more than preparing some easy breezy Rice krispies treats. Whenever i make this simple rice krispies, it gets generally disappears so soon from my kitchen counter and i rarely get a chance to save a slice for next day.
Easy to prepare this rice krispies treats are seriously prefect to carry to enjoy while watching some fireworks or else to munch while attending a barbecue or picnic. I used blue and red candy melts to drizzle on the top this simple rice krispies along with white chocolate. Since i couldnt able to spot out no-flavored rice krispies, i opted for chocolate rice krispies, obviously i couldnt think more than drizzling those red and blue candy along with melted white chocolate on the top. Kids enjoyed thoroughly and if conserved properly these incredible treats stays absolutely prefect for more than a week.
6cups Mini marshmallows
6cups Chocolate rice krispies cereal
3tsp Butter
1/4cup Blue candy melts
1/4cup Red candy melts
1/4cup White chocolate (roughly chopped)
Grease a rectangular cooking tray and keep aside.
Take the butter in a large pan, once the butter melts, add the mini marshmallows, melt them in low flame.
Stir them frequently, once the marshmallows melts, add the rice krispies and mix well.
Now transfer this mixture to the already prepared tray, press the mixture with your fingertips.
Let it cool completely.
Meanwhile melt the candy melts and white chocolate separately, drizzle one by one generouly on the top of the rice krispies.
Let it cool again, slice as squares.
