If you would have went through my previous post, you mind have noticed that i have been running this week's blogging marathon with Bring them on burger as theme. I couldnt resist to prepare a meatless burger with some blanched spinach leaves and mashed leftover rice. Both works awesome and this patties came out extremely delicious and super healthy. This gluten free patties are seriously very easy to make. Just blanched and chopped spinach leaves and nicely mashed rice spiced with garam masala powder, chopped green chillies and sauteed onions makes this fantastic patties, when served along with homemade burger buns trust me this meatless burger will definitely please everyone's hungry tummy.
As i told in my previous post, i baked again the burger buns myself at home instead of picking from stores. And as usual i followed 40 minutes eggless burger buns which was a big hit at home. Needless to say whenever i feel like baking burger buns i do just go with this incredible buns. Everyone enjoyed thoroughly this ultimate Palak rice burger when i served this healthy burger for their dinner. No potatoes is needed for making the patties, mushy rice or nicely mashed rice works awesome to make this green patties. Give a try, am sure you will make this meatless burger quite often to please everyone at home.
Hamburger Buns (bake them as mini buns)
Spinach & Rice Patties:

1cup Blanched and thinly chopped Spinach leaves
2cups Cooked rice
2nos Green chillies (sliced thinly)
1no Big onion (chopped)
1no Big onion (chopped)
1/2tsp Garam masala powder
Salt
2tbsp All purpose flour
Bread Crumbs

Oil
Heat few drops of oil and sauté the chopped onions until its turns transculent.

Take the spinach leaves, cooked rice in a bowl, add the chopped green chillies,sauteed onions, garam masala powder and salt.
Mix everything well and make 3-4 medium sized patties out of this mixture.
Mix the all purpose flour with enough water to make a paste.Dip the patties in the flour paste.
Roll this flour paste coated patties to the bread crumbs and arrange them in fridge for an hour.

Heat oil for pan fry, drop the pattiess and cook on both sides until they turns golden brown. Drain the oil with paper towel.
For Assembling:
Slice the hamburger buns into two, spread enough mayonnaise on both slices.
Place the spinach rice patties in the middle, top it with sliced tomatoes.
Serve as burger and enjoy immediately.
