However many variations do exists. Though the traditional Nonnettes goes for Orange marmalade, many fillings like strawberry jam, mixed fruits jam etc are also used to make a different version of Nonnettes. What a beautiful recipe , I loved it . Very different and I am sure it must have tasted absolutely delicious . Lucky you got the recipe from your friend . I am definitely trying this soon.
Wow honey as the sweetener in the batter, that's something new. I love the icing drizzling off the nonettes, absolutely drool worthy! Orange marmalade would be my choice of filling, I always have a bottle of it in my fridge. Yummy bake!
Lovely gingerbread recipe there. Tempting pictures too.
Drool drool drool....these little nonnettes look so tempting. Gingerbread and jam sound like a heavenly combination. And if I get such a tasty excuse to eat orange marmalade I am so going for it!
