Watermelon Mint Smoothie

Its summer here, obviously the local farmer markets is stuffed with summer fruits, watermelon is one among those varieties of summer fruits we never forget to buy once they starts showing their heads. Watermelon this fruits is our family favourite, i can start my day with this fruit and end my day with it as well. I tried even doing a watermelon diet as i love this fruit that much. This fruit is one among the cheaper summer fruit easily available in the market obviously who will fail to get them. During one of our recent visit to the farmer's market pulled us to get a super huge watermelon, back home i tried salad with feta cheese, lollies, gaspacho and this smoothie. Even i didnt trashed the white rinds, i cook delicious dishes out of it. So apart from the outer green skin everything from watermelon can be used in different way in cooking.

Watermelon smoothie, Minty watermelon smoothie

Whenever we get watermelons we never failed to make limenades or lassi with this incredible fruit, but for a change this time i opted for a super refreshing smoothie with mint leaves. Trust me, watermelon and mint works fabulous together in this drink. A prefect summer drink, one can serve this drink for a summer get together or simply as a welcome drink to their guests. An easy peasy drink to make without any fail when watermelon is around the corner. You can add more flavors to this simple drink, but however mint leaves added in this smoothie gives an wonderful aroma and we loved it to the core. This smoothie goes straight to this week's blogging marathon as i chosed Sizzling smoothies as theme.Check out the Blogging Marathon page for the other Blogging Marathoners doing BM#43.
