MW Greenpeas Yogurt Pulao

Are you searching for a quick,flavourful and effortless pulao,you hould give a try to this delicious greenpeas yogurt pulao,you can prepare them for a party or as a sunday special lunch,which doesnt need to stir and cook for hours..Yep i simply prepared this pulao in microwave oven and your pulao gets ready within less than half an hour, to prepare this pulao you doesnt even need onions,ginger garlic paste or tomatoes, i simply spiced up this pulao with garam masala powder,yogurt and green chillies..I simply served this pulao with mixed veggies kurma,we had a super filling lunch yesterday..Sending to Radhika's Let's Cook-RiceMEC guest hosted by Kalyani,event by Srivalli, and HLI-Peas guest hosted by Veena,event by Kalyani...


2cups Basmati rice (soaked for 10minutes)
1cup Frozen green peas
1tsp Cumin seeds
3nos Green chillies (slit opened)
1cup Yogurt
1/2tsp Garam masala powder
Salt
Oil

Heat oil and cumin seeds in a microwave safe bowl for 2minutes, add now the frozen peas,slit opened green chillies,garam masala powder and salt,cook everything for 5 minutes(stir in between)..now add the soaked rice along with yogurt and 2cups of water,cook everything for 20-25minutes (stir twice or thrice in between) until the rice gets well cooked.


Serve with any raitas or kurmas..

  3. I'd love to make this in a pressure cooker but I am worried whether the yoghurt wouldn't curdle coz of the heat. What would u suggest?
