Spicy Potato Crackers

Look at those cute looking crackers, they looks crunchy and fabulous na..I prepared this star shaped crackers today for our snacks as a spicy savoury biscuits using potato flakes which we get often easily for making potato puree, my H bought accidently these potato flakes and i never prepare potato puree using those store bought flakes so they were sitting in my pantry since a long, its time to finish them as anything and my mind went for making some savoury crackers..I finally choosed to spice up this potato crackers with crushed garlic cloves, few red chilly flakes, sesame seeds and prepared this crackers with potato flakes and all purpose flour..Easy breezy crackers gets ready in less than 15minutes and suits prefectly for snacks if u serve them simply or with a cheese spread..Sending this beautiful crackers to Global Kadai-Crackers & Straws guest hosted by Ria, event by Cilantro and to Kid's Delight-Holiday Special hosted by Srivalli...

Spicy potato crackers

2cups All purpose flour
1cup Potato flakes or cooked & smashed potatoes
1/2tsp Red chilly flakes
1tsp Baking powder
1tbsp Sesame seeds
2nos Garlic (crushed)
Salt
2tsp Olive oil

Take all the ingredients in a bowl, with enough water knead them as smooth and stiff dough..Keep aside for half an hour..Preheat the oven to 350F...Roll the dough as a large disc and with a cookie cutter, cut the dough as any shape as u desire, arrange them over a baking sheet lined over a baking tray..Bake this crackers for 12-15minutes until the crust turns golden brown..

Munch them simply or else with cream cheese..

  22. WOW what a yummy recipe,I have a question-is potato flakes and potato buds the same? I am asking this because I have a huge bag of potato buds, and my friend who got transfered gave them to me and the zip lock says potato buds and she said she used it to thicken the gravies.Sound like the same thing with different names maybe....
