Kiwi Lassi

Kiwi Fruits, are originated from China , they were well known as Chinese gooseberry until the newzealand kiwi growers named it as Kiwi...Kiwi , this oval shape green fruit with loads of tiny black seeds are rich in Vitamin C, which is an antioxidant that can protect your arteries, also this fruit is rich in dietary fiber, a good source of potassium, copper, magnesium, vitamin E and manganese...Italy is now the leading producer of kiwifruit in the world, followed by China, New Zealand, Chile, France, Greece, Japan and the United States.
It is best to buy firm kiwifruit and allow them ripen at home . A kiwifruit is ripe when plump and slightly soft to the touch with a fragrant smell. Choose kiwifruit with no bruises or soft spots and avoid fruit with wrinkles or signs of exterior damage.Ripe kiwis can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three weeks. Place them in a plastic bag to help reduce moisture loss. Here comes our desi style lassi with kiwi fruits, this kiwi lassi tasted very refreshing, with plenty of vitamins, prefect for diabetic people and for kids and one of the best and easy way to consume this oval fruit...

1cup Kiwi pieces
2cups Thick yoghurt
2tsp Honey or Maple Syrup
1/2tsp Vanilla extract
Ice Cubes
Water as per need

Blend together kiwi pieces, thick yoghurt, honey, vanilla extract with enough water as smooth drink...serve immediately with ice cubes and enjoy!!!
