French Apple Tart - Tarte Aux Pommes

One of the famous dessert of French peoples is Apple tart, its quite simple to prepare this tart, wat we need for this tart is applesauce, gelatin powder, apple pieces n pastry sheet...will take just few minutes to prepare this delicious tart...In North France , this tart will be prepared with creams n eggs, they r several ways to prepare this tasty tart, mine is simple, quick n easiest one..

1no Pastry sheet
1cup Applesauce
2nos Apples( sliced)
2tsp Sugar + 1tsp sugar ( springling )
2tsp Gelatin powder
1/4cup Water

Take a round baking pan r tart mould, place the pastry sheet inside n pick them with fork to make small dots....now spread the applesauce inside the pastry sheet, arrange the apple slices as in picture..just springle the sugar over the apple pieces..preheat the oven to 350F n bake the tart in middle rack for 30 minutes..

Keep aside n let them cool...make a thin syrup with sugar, gelatin powder n water, once the gelatin powder gets well dissolved, pour this syrup over the apple tart n keep in fridge for atleast two hours..

Serve them chilled with a cup of coffee for snacks else can serve them as dessert after lunch r dinner...
