Stuffed Chicken Masala, a very gud breakfast for Sunday..when i was kid, sunday was a special day, coz we always used to have mutton for breakfast to dinner, mom used to do this stuffed idlies for morning breakfast , we are always great fans of this dish..I wish to share one of my mom's special which i did this Sunday.. hope u will all like this, really kids will love this..who were bored of usual Idlies can have a trial to this recipe..i did with chicken instead of mutton..can also prepare them with prawns thokku, egg spicy curry, any left over vegetable curries etc..just play with imagination n with any curries..
1cup Chicken breast
1 no Onion chopped
1/2 tsp Fennel seed powder
1/2 tsp Cumin seed powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
1tsp Red chilli powder
2 stks Coriander leaves
3 nos Curry leaves
2 tsp Oil
1 pinch Turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
1 cup Idly batter
Oil for greasing
Grind the chicken pieces in a food processor as chopped chicken pieces..heat oil in a pan add the onion pieces n stir them until they turns transculent, add now the chopped chicken pieces to the onion n stir them until they cook well. Add fennel seed powder, cumin seed powder , turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt n red chilli powder to the chicken pieces, stir everything well n put the flame in simmer, add half cup of water to cook the chicken pieces(can decrease r increase water), cook until the oil separates from the chicken masala..add coriander pieces n curry leaves n put off the stove,keep aside n let it cool..
Take the idly cooker r pressure cooker n heat them , grease the idli plates, pour 1/4 of the plate with idly batter, add one tsp of chicken masala to the idly batter as shown in picture.
Pour another 1/4 of idly batter on the top the chicken masala, spread the idly batter to cover the chicken masala, cook these idlies for 10 minutes in high flame..remove carefully from the idli plates..Some idlies may be turned lightly coloured coz of the chicken masala oil..serve them hot with chutneys r sambars r else can eat very well alone.
Enjoyyyyy!!!!!!!!!! No doubt..they will vanish within few minutes..
