Delicious Rose Lychee

Litchi/Lychee..Native to China, the Philippines and India, lychees are a delicious fruit which will add flavor to fruit salads. Lychees are eaten fresh or dried, but canned lychees have become very popular.lychees are a very good source for the essential vitamin C. Three lychee fruits would meet a third of an adult’s daily vitamin C requirement.Lychees are also a good source of riboflavin, potassium and copper also...I prepared this lychee juice in rose syrup...a refreshing juice with superb rose flavour..

20nos Lychee
2tbsp Rose Syrup
1/4cup Sugar

Peel the skin as well as the seed, keep aside 5numbers of lychee fruits for garnishing...blend the edible flesh of the lychee fruits, sugar with 2cups of water well...strain the juice n add the rose syrup to the juice r else can add directly the rose syrup to the juice...keep them in fridge for atleast 1hour..

Serve them chilled garnish with lychee fruits..

I am from Beau Bassin, Mauritius where the lychees are fruiting and almost ripe for harvesting.
Thank you for the recipe which I'll try soon.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that lychee was introduced in the Philippines andamong the varieties cultivated is one called Mauritius as that variet originally came from Mauritius
