I love to bake with millets especially with finger millet in my bakings. I havent baked something spicy with finger millet flour since a while. And finally here comes an easy but still a dangerously addictive spiced biscuits to munch inbetween a meal or for an evening snack. Very easy to make these biscuits are seriously something healthy, guilt free and just prefect to please your tastebuds. These biscuits are simple and quick to prepare and bake. Its completely vegan, obviously you can munch them without any guilt. Have you ever heard about Elevenses, its a small break of light refreshments usually served with tea or coffee which is taken around 11 o'clock in the morning. Obviously the foods or drinks served during Elevenses have to be not too fatty or not to be heavy as well.
1cup Fingermillet flour
1cup Whole wheat flour
3tbsp Olive oil
1tsp Red chilly flakes
1tsp Dry parsley leaves
1tsp Flax seed powder
1tsp Salt
Preheat the oven to 350F, line baking sheets over a baking tray and keep aside.
In a bowl, take the flours,salt,red chilly flakes,dry parsley leaves,flax seeds and keep aside.
Add the olive oil and water,mix well and turn everything as a stiff dough..
Roll the dough as a thick disc.
Cut the dough with a cookie cutter and place them over the already prepared baking sheets and bake for 20-25minutes, let it cool completely..
Enjoy with a cup of tea.
Why am talking about Elevenses??..my theme for this week's blogging marathon is All about Elevenses. Hence this week's posts are going to be something simple, easy, quick and very interesting food to enjoy around 11 o'clock in the morning. Coming to this Ragi biscuits, its completely a flavourful one to enjoy without any dips though you can still serve them with herbed cheese or any sort of dips to enjoy this dangerously addictive biscuits. We had this biscuits with this nutty Cashew dip and loved it to the core.
