You might have noticed that am running this week's blogging marathon with Cook by Capital as theme. And i picked 'P', obviously after Paris, today's capital i have picked is Prague Prague is Czech Republic's capital and i seriously want to visit this beautiful capital atleast once in my lifetime. And i have been looking for an opportunity to visit this place though its not far from France. Since i picked Prague, i googled for some interesting dishes from this amazing country, many Czech dishes are loaded with meats. However i looked for something different, definitely a hassle free dish from this cuisine. While googling, i crossed Livance, a fabulous Czech yeasted pancakes. Livance may sounds as much as like American Pancakes but trust me these pancakes are dangerously delicious.
Livance, these spongy yeasted pancakes are just prefect to kick start a day. This Czech pancakes are small, sweetened spongy cake which are usually served with sweet toppings like jam, fruit sauces, whipped cream or else simply with chopped mixed fruits. This pancakes are seriously very easy to prepare and quite very simple. Usually in Czech Repbulic, Livances are cooked in specific pans, however you can still cook this Czech pan. Since this batter calls for yeast, you can prepare this pancake batter earlier a day. Wrap them well and arrange the batter in fridge, leave it to rise in fridge for overnight. Next day morning, bring the batter to room temperature and makes these spongy yeasted pancakes for your breakfast.

2cups All purpose flour
1tsp Instant yeast
1 Egg
1cup Milk
1/2tsp Salt
2tbsp Sugar
25grams Butter
Oil for pan frying
Take the milk and butter in a sauce pan, warm the milk until the butter gets melts.
Meanwhile take the all purpose flour, egg, sugar, salt and instant yeast in a bowl.
Once the milk turns lukewarm, add the milk to the flour mixture and mix everything well.
Turn the batter as thick but pouring consistency. Wrap the bowl and keep in your warm place for an hour.
Once the batter double the volume, unwrap it and give a mix.
Heat a pan, drop enough oil for pan frying. Once the oil is hot, drop a tablespoon of batter and spread as small pancakes.
Cook in small flame, flip it and cook on other side.
Repeat the same process until the batter gets finished.
