You might already tried cornflakes cookies, but today's recipe is completely a different one.Cornflakes chocolate brownies is definitely a must to try if you have leftover cornflakes sitting sadly in your pantry to get finished. Yes i used leftover cornflakes for baking out some chocolate loaded brownies instead of trashing them. I grounded cornflakes as coarse powder and used them in a brownie batter to bake out some incredible brownie out of it. I hate trashing, obviously i will think twice to make use of anything which is leftover aside for many days before their expiry date. Even my H used to blame me that i dont trash anything easily than giving them a second life.
And this post is going to be the last post of this year. Its quite a hectic year for me though it kept on posting many delightful dishes on my blog baby whenever time permits. I prepared myself mentally not to get tired of preparing dishes depending on the themes, clicking them immediately and drafting them whenever i get some free time. And thank god, i managed everything and here comes my final post of this year's Bake-a-Thon as well. Coming to this cornflakes chocolate brownies, i baked this dangerously delicious brownies with both grounded corn flakes along with all purpose flour. Kids enjoyed this brownies thoroughly and none noticed that i baked this brownies with cornflakes. You can replace cornflakes very well with any sort of cereals and bake your brownies with your favourite cereals.
1cup Cornflakes (grounded as coarse powder)
1cup All purpose flour
3/4cup Sugar
2 Eggs
250grams Dark chocolate (chopped)
100grams Butter
1/4tsp Baking powder
Grease a square baking pan generously with butter.
Melt the butter and dark chocolate chunks in a microwave oven for 30 seconds.
Meanwhile beat the eggs with sugar until the mixture turns smooth.
Now add the melted chocolate to the egg mixture and mix well.
Add the coarse powder of cornflakes, all purpose flour and baking powder to the egg-chocolate mixture, mix well.
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Pour this brownie batter to a greased square pan and bake for 20-25minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
