Tofu/this soybean cheese is an Asian origin. Production of tofu involves soaking soybeans in water and creating soy milk, then curdling the milk using a substance such as calcium sulfate or lemon juice. The curds are separated from the whey and usually packaged in block form. Most tofu brands offer a range of soft and firm varieties, which differ mainly in the amount of water retained. Pressing tofu can remove additional water.. Tofu is a good protein source, coz of the amount and nature of the protein it contains. The protein content is higher in firm types of tofu than in softer types. Firm tofus are used to prepare many delicious dishes while soft tofu are used in preparing desserts and bakes.
This fantastic vegan steak is completely a worth to try, as this dish will definitely please anyone's tastebuds. Served as a starter or as side for a meal, trust me this excellent garlic flavoured tofu steak makes an excellent meal. My kids are great fans of tofu, obviously i have to think sometimes out of the box to create a dish with tofu as they are seriously bored of eating tofu fried rice or chilly tofu. And this gluten free tofu steak is quite an easy dish to dish out with simple cooking process. Coated and flavored with finely minced garlic flakes, pepper powder and rice flour, once pan fried, i couldnt stop myself to serve this incredible tofu steak along with pan cooked soya sauce flavored onions. Once served hot, everyone at home enjoyed thoroughly this incredible vegan steak. Loaded with protein, this tofu steak suits prefect to this month's blogging marathon as we are running Mega marathon with protein rich friendly dishes.

That's a fantastic tofu steak . Somehow the tofu in India is not as great but we feast on it in other countries . I like the way you have flavoured it .
