Cheese Bombs are extremely delicious to resist if you love some gooey cheesy centre in your bread rolls. Actually cheese bombs are small dinner rolls stuffed with any sort of cheese however mozzarella cheese suits extremely prefect to make some super cheesy bombs. If you are baking this cheese bombs dont forget to bake huge batch else you will regret later. My today's cheese bombs are extremely healthy as i used silken tofu in my bread dough. If you are follower of my space, you might have noticed that i have already baked few breads with tofu as egg replacer. Silken tofu replaces eggs prefectly in anything, especially in bread and cakes. However eggless pudding or chocolate mousse can be prepared with silken tofu as well. Silken tofu is an excellent source of protein, obviously my today's cheesy tofu bombs are protein rich and calcium rich tiny treats which will definitely please your tastebuds.
You might have noticed i have been posting some Protein rich dishes since two weeks as am running this month's blogging marathon with Protein rich foods as theme. Silken tofu gives a wonderful texture and softness to bread. Either your bread is yeasted or a simple flatbread, do try to add some tofu, trust me your bread will be super soft than you can imagine. Whenever i feel like having soft flatbreads, i dont forget to add pureed tofu to my flatbread dough. One of the best way to sneak tofu is definitely adding them this way in most of our dishes just to feed picky eaters at home.Coming to these Cheesy tofu bombs, trust me this cheese bombs are very dangerously addictive, obviously one cant just stop with one cheese bomb. Make this cuties and enjoy the goodness of cheese and tofu by indulging this ultimate cheesy treats.
3cups All purpose flour
1/2cup Warm water
1/2cup Silken Tofu
1tbsp Instant yeast
1/3cup Olive oil
1tbsp Sugar
1tsp Salt
1cup Mozzarella cheese (cubed)
1tsp Dry herbs (i used basilic)
1tbsp Olive oil
1/4tsp Salt
In a large bowl, take the flour, instant yeast, salt,silken tofu,oil and sugar, add the luke warm water gradually and knead everything as a smooth dough.
Drop the dough onto a floured surface, knead until the dough turns smooth and elastic.
Arrange dough in a greased bowl and let it sit in a warm place.
Punch down the dough, divide them into 7-8 balls.
Flat each ball and place a mozzarella cheese cube, bring the edges together and roll them well.
Place this rolled bread on a baking tray lined with a baking paper. Keep in warm place for half an hour.

Preheat the oven to 350F. Meanwhile add the dried herbs,salt to the olive oil, mix well
Keep the pan in the middle of the rack, brush the rolls generously with the herbed olive oil and bake for 25-30minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
Pull a bread and enjoy the gooey cheese.
