Pampushki/Pampushky are fantastic Ukrainian's Garlic rolls served along with the popular Borscht soup. But these garlic rolls can be enjoyed with any meals as they are absolutely aromatic with fantastic flavor. Pampushki calls for an easy breezy bread dough which makes some soft and beautiful rolls. These aromatic dinner rolls are completely egg free, obviously you can bake these absolutely delicious garlic rolls in big batches. Trust me, Pampushki will definitely please anyone's tastebuds especially if you love garlic flavor in your bread. I followed this recipe for the preparing the dough and this video for shaping, as the original recipe i followed went for a simple shaping.
While i was googling for this Pampushki recipe, i crossed many different versions of Pampushki with dark flours like rye flour etc, but i decided to go with simple bread dough. Also for shaping these dinner rolls, i followed the video as these rolls are shaped and filled with the garlic-parsley butter in a different way instead of brushing the rolls with garlic-parsley butter. The person who posted the video prepared her garlic parsley butter by grinding them as a coarse mixture instead of putting all the ingredients together in a bowl and use as a spread over the dinner rolls. Am running a month of blogging marathon with A-Z Baking around the world as theme,
Enjoy.

4cups All purpose flour
1tbsp Instant yeast
1/2cup Lukewarm milk
1/2cupWater
1teaspoon Sugar
1teaspoon Salt
1/4cup Butter (softened)
5-6 Garlic cloves
1/2cup Parsley leaves
Milk (for brushing)
Take the flour, sugar, salt and instant yeast in a bowl, add the luke warm milk, water and knead everything together.
Knead the dough until its turns smooth and elastic.
Place dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover with a plastic wrap.
Arrange the bowl in a warm place until the dough doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and form into 12-15 equal sized balls.
Roll each ball well and arrange on a baking sheet lined over a baking tray. Cover and allow to rise again.
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Meanwhile, take the softened butter, garlic cloves and parsley leaves in a bowl, with hand mixer blend it as coarse mixture.
Brush the rolls with milk and make a slit in the middle of the rolls (take care not to make a deep slit) and place enough garlic mixture to fill the slit.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust turns golden brown in colour. Place rolls on a wire rack to cool.
Enjoy.
