Rajma/Red kidney beans makes excellent dishes and my today's post is one among those fantastic dishes you can cook up easily with this nutritious beans. Soya Rajam Kheema aka Minced soya with Red kidney beans, trust me this curry makes an excellent side dish to relish with some rotis or else wrap it or simply use as stuff for making parathas. So many option to enjoy this nutritious, vegan keema. Usually i love to make kheema with soya nuggest as they are very much nutritious to enjoy without any guilt. Adding rajma to a usual soya keema makes this already delicious dish more healthy and nutritious at the same time. With all spice powders went in it, this vegan kheema makes an excellent accompaniment to relish even with some toasted bread slices.
This post is going to this month's Mega Marathon am running since 4 weeks, and with 5 ingredients for 5 weeks as theme. I picked a Dry bean/Legume as main ingredient for each week. Since Red kidney bean/Rajma is the main ingredient for this week's marathon, am posting few interesting nutritious dishes from this incredible bean. Coming to this keema,its definitely an excellent meal to include in everyone's diet as this dish is completely low in fat and extremely rich in protein. Needless to say how both rajma and soya nuggets are healthy, dont forget to dish out this excellent vegetarian keema to feed anyone at home easily with these both incredible ingredients.
2cups Cooked Red kidney beans/Rajma
1cup Minced soya granules (cooked)
2nos Onions (large & chopped finely)
1/2cup Tomato pulp or chopped tomatoes
1tsp Ginger garlic paste
2nos Green chillies (chopped)
1/2tsp Red chilly powder
1/2tsp Garam masala powder
1tsp Coriander powder
Few chopped coriander leaves
1/2tsp Fennel seeds (crushed)
1/2tsp Kasuri methi (crushed)
Salt
Oil
Heat enough oil in a pan, fry the crushed fennel seeds.
Add immediately the chopped onions,chopped tomatoes,chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste,saute until the raw smell goes away.
Add the cooked soya granules,cooked rajma,salt,red chilly powder,garam masala powder and coriander powder,cook everything in simmer until the masala turns thick..
Finally add the chopped coriander leaves,crushed kasuri methi and put off the stove.
Serve hot with rice or rotis.
