Baking bread at home is definitely one of my favourite pass time when i stay home especially during the week ends. I love to experiment in my kitchen if i feel like feeding my kids with healthy ingredients in their diet. One among those recent experiment is this eggless Black bean monkey bread aka black bean pull apart bread. Monkey bread consists of several pieces of soft bread either filled with a stuffing or coated with spice powders like cinnamon, garlic-butter mixture etc.Usually monkey bread is prepared as a sweet pastry though many savoury versions do exists. This bread is traditionally served hot so that the baked pieces can be easily torn away with the fingers and eaten by hand.
You may wonder black bean in bread, yes i used cooked black bean puree while kneading the bread dough which gives an excellent soft texture and mild dull colour to the dough. Apart from it, this bread tastes seriously fabulous as i used a mix of herbs to flavor along with minced garlic cloves. This bread is completely egg free, butter free but loaded with cheese, obviously this bread is not vegan. Whoever loves herbs, cheese and garlic in their bread will definitely go crazy if they tastes a bite of this bread. Simple to prepare, this bread will definitely please everyone's tastebuds. Am posting this incredible black bean pull apart bread for this week's blogging marathon as am running a month of blogging marathon with 5 Ingredients for 5 Weeks. And this week's ingredient is Dry black beans, hope you guys are enjoying all my posts with this healthy black beans.
