Crispy Almond Cookies, trust me these scrumptious cookies are dangerously addictive. Usually i love to indulge chewy cookies, while googling few days back i accidently saw these crispy cookies.Though i was bit intrigued by these crispies, i gathered all the ingredients to give a try to these nutty cookies. Almost like butter cookies, these crispy almond cookies calls for butter, obviously this cookies are loaded with butter and chocolate chips. This cookie dough gets ready very much quickly though this dough sits for half an hour in freezer or for an hour in fridge. However apart from this, these cookies gets completely baked within 15 minutes.
I have been blogging with 'Go Nuts' as theme for this week's blogging marathon, after two nuts loaded fabulous dishes, i couldnt resist to post these crispy almond cookies for my today's post. These cookies makes an excellent evening snacks for kids. You can pack in their snack box too, however none will resist to this fantastic cookies and one cant just stop with a cookie. You can add couple of nuts to prepare these cookies more nutty, however i went with chopped almonds and chocolate chips.
110grms Butter
1cup All purpose flour
3/4cup Sugar
1tsp Vanilla extract
1/2cup Almond meal
1/4cup Chopped almonds
1/4cup Chocolate chips
1/2tsp Baking powder
Beat the butter and sugar together until they turns light and fluffy.
Add in the vanilla extact, beat for few minutes.
Now add the flour,almond meal,chopped almond nuts, chocolate chips and mix well to form a smooth dough.
Roll the dough as a log with a plastic wrap and arrange the dough in fridge for an hour.

Slice the chilled dough and arrange over a baking sheet lined over a baking tray.
Preheat the oven to 350F. Bake in medium rack for 15minutes or until set.
Cool the cookies on baking sheets.
Store in air tightened box.
