Kebabs are usually prepared with grounded meats though vegetables are used often in our Indian style of kebabs. Kebabs makes a fabulous starter as well as excellent evening snacks when served along with varieties of sauces. I picked Kabab varieties as theme for this week's blogging marathon, obviously for the first day of this week's blogging marathon, i couldnt resist to dish out some kebabs with drumstick pulps. Drumstick pulps in kebab may sounds bizarre but trust me, this pulps makes an interesting kebabs. Very easy to make, this kebab are seriously very healthy as drumstick pulps are rich in iron.
If you want to feed everyone with this healthy drumstick, then dont hesitate a second to have a look to this kebab. Though scooping out the pulp may be bit time consuming, but dishing out this kebab will definitely take less time than you can imagine. Since ever i have prepared this kebab,my kids became a big fan of this vegetable. Whenever i get a chance to pick some fresh drumsticks from Indian groceries, i dont hesitate a second to dish some kebabs with this incredible vegetable.
2 Drumsticks (tender & big ones)
4 Potatoes (pressure cooked &mashed)
1/2teaspoon Garam masala powder
1/4teaspoon Cumin powder
2 Green chillies(chopped)
Salt
1tablespoon Corn flour
Oil for shallow frying
Cut the drumsticks as one inch pieces, cook them with enough water until they gets cooked.
Drain the water and scoop out the pulp from the pods.
Mash the cooked potatoes.
Add the drumstick pulp,mashed potatoes, garam masala powder, chopped green chillies, cumin powder, corn flour, salt and mix well.
Make small sized round shaped patties from the mixture.
Heat enough oil in a pan, pan fry the tikkis until they turns golden brown.
Enjoy with ketchup for evening snacks with your favourite drink.

When I read drumstick, I was curious to know how cooked drumstick kababs. Lol!! Kababs with drumsticks sounds yummy.
