Home Made Enchilada Sauce/Enchilada Sauce

We love Mexican foods and whenever time permits we dont hesitate a second to invite ourselves to our favourite Mexican restaurant. Obviously if i get a chance to try my hands with one of my favourite cuisine, how can i say 'no'. When i picked One sauce Two dishes as theme for this week's blogging marathon, i want to give a try to this famous Enchilada sauce. Though we get tortillas and few more Mexican ingredients easily in most of provisional stores, we dont get this enchilada sauce easily. When i googled for this sauce, i found that this sauce was very easy to make simply at home with easily available ingredients. Homemade Enchilada Sauce is amazing and very easy to prepare.

Home Made Enchilada Sauce, Enchilada Sauce

Enchilada sauce do exists as two versions, red enchilada sauce with tomato sauce and green enchilada sauce. I went with the Red enchilada sauce which calls for tomato sauce. Traditionally Enchilada sauce is prepared with Pasilla chillies, available in Mexican grocery stores, since its quite a hard task for me i went simply with both tomato and chilly powder, which replace very well this Mexican chillies. This sauce makes excellent filling or as topping or else as condiment in many delicious Mexican dishes, and i prepared two different delicious dishes out of this incredible sauce. We simply enjoyed our food as we were craving for some Mexican dishes.
