I have heard a lot about baking with beans especially in brownies, everytime i want to make brownies with beans either i'll drop my plan or else i wont have sufficient beans to give a try. But this time i dont want miss trying my hands with beans in brownies. Actually black beans works awesome in bakes especially in brownie. When i had some cooked leftover black beans sitting sadly in my fridge, i couldnt resist to give a try to this fudgy like orange flavoured black bean brownies. Trust me this brownies came out extremely awesome with a mild orange flavour. But one thing, dont say to anyone that this brownies are made with black beans, dont reveal the 'secret ingredient' until they finish their dessert.

After some scrumptious cashew and ragi cookies, my today's post goes again to this week's blogging marathon, with a super interesting theme called Gluten Free Indulgence. Gluten is a protein you can find in most of the whole grains and this intolerance may cause dangerous health issues. Hence if you have kid with gluten intolerance you need to pay more attention especially to store bought food products. Trust me you can dish out many fantastic gluten free dishes with simple ingredients you can find in your pantry. One among those decadent brownie is this Vegan black bean brownies, give a try and am sure you wont miss anything in this brownies.

1+1/2cups Cooked Black beans
1/2cup Oil
1+1/2cup Freshly squeezed Orange juice
3/4 or 1/2cup Sugar (depending upon your tastebuds)
1tbsp Orange zest
1cup Chocolate chips
3tbsp Dark cocoa powder
1tsp Vanilla extract
1/2cup Corn flour
1/4tsp Salt

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Grease a square baking pan and line a baking sheet over it.

Blend the black beans with oil as a smooth paste.

Transfer the blackbean puree to a bowl, add in the orange juice and sugar.

Whisk it well until the sugar gets dissolved, add the cocao powder, vanilla extract, orange zest, corn flour and salt, whisk again well.

Fold in 3/4cup of chocolate chips, stir gently, pour the batter to the already prepared mould.

Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on the top of the batter.

Bake for 25-30minutes, until a skewer inserted comes out clean.

Cool it completely.

Leave them in fridge for overnite before serving.

Slice it and serve with a scoop of icecream or custard cream..
