When i picked raw banana as my star ingredient for this blogging marathon under the theme one vegetable in different forms, i was very much sure to give a try to a paratha with cooked and spiced raw bananas. Finally i tried them and my trial turned out absolutely prefect. Cooked raw banana puree added to the wheat flour and spiced with garam masala makes this absolutely soft, flavourful and mildly spicy raw banana paratha. Colour of this paratha was bit dull when compared to the usual ones but tastewise they came out simply prefect and super soft, the addition of cooked raw banana puree gives the softness to this paratha. If you want to make a different paratha from the routine one, then give a try to this raw banana paratha.
Raw bananas are versatile and you can make varieties of dishes with this incredible vegetable. We usually make curries and gravies but trust me even parathas works awesome. Since this paratha is already spiced, you doesnt even need any side dish to have with, but however i couldnt resist to make a simple paneer bhurji to have with and my kids just enjoyed thoroughly this beautiful parathas.Check out the Blogging Marathon page for the other Blogging Marathoners doing BM#49.
