Chivda goes for quick preparation especially if you are using thin rice flakes, cornflakes or wheat flakes, its takes hardly less than 15minutes and your chivdas are ready to munch. During my trip to India, i got some packets of wheat flakes from organic stores. Actually i bought those packets just to make chivdas back home. Wheat flakes works wonder for making this quick chivdas. Usually chivdas are prepared till date with poha aka thin rice flakes, grated potato and with corn flakes. Am sure this wheat flakes chivda is the best one among those chivdas and if you make them at home you wont stop munching this addictive snacks.Wheat flakes are similar to corn flakes, they are made with whole wheat and wheat bran. Whole wheat are rolled and turned as flakes which retain their fibre content along with other vital nutrients. This chivda is mildly sweet and spicy, you can change or alter the spices according to your tastebuds.
Just a teaspoon of oil is enough to make this quick and easy breezy chivda with wheat flakes. Obviously this chivda is completely healthy with less oil, quite addictive coz they are seriously crunchy munchy and definitely a kid's friendly snacks as wheat flakes are rich in fibre with less oil.Trust me this chivda gets vanished very much quickly. This week am running again blogging marathon for 3 days as usual and the theme of this week is Kid's delight-Fat free recipes.
