Whoever knows me well, will definitely say that am a 'Rasam piriyai'..yes i love rasam, its one of the comforting food i would like to enjoy in my everyday menu..After making out rasam with ususal veggies like butter nut squash, avocado, my next attempt was with green apple..This green apples are quite sour and crunchy so that can be eaten as salads but when they get cooked, they tastes quite similar like mangoes and this green apple chunks in this rasam tastes as though, we had this slight sweet and sour rasam for our today's lunch with fried fish, both together works out wonder and we enjoyed having this green apple and dal rasam for our lunch...Easy, simple and truly delicious rasam tastes fantastic with hot steaming rice and spicy potato roast also..This apple rasam goes to Nithu Bala's Think Beyond The Usual-Fruits...
