Yogurt cake with apple chunks is a quite easy and my all time favourite, since its need oil instead of butter and no need to separate eggs, no complicated steps to follow for preparing this cake..its not too sweet and can be a prefect dessert, best with simple coffee for breakfast and a delicious dessert while served with whipping cream..this cake also never need for any weighing machine as everything is measured with simple yogurt cup..I have added half a cup of chocolate chips to make out my classical yogurt cake quite as delicious chocolate and fruit cake..This cakes need roughly quite a few minutes to prepare and kids will surely love this soft chocolate and apple cake..this cake can be prepared as many varieties, wat all u need is to just play with fruits, nuts and chocolates..u can either prepare this cake simply without fruits, nuts ...This cake can suit very well for birthday parties too, if u decorate with any frosting..i do decorate my yogurt cake with simple chocolate frosting and decorate with few candies over the frosting if its a kid's birthday parties ...Am sending this yummy cake to Ria's Lets Celebrate Cakes, Cookies, Cocktails..
1cup Yogurt (We need the yogurt cup for measuring)
2cups Sugar
3cups All purpose flour+1tsp flour
3nos Eggs
1cup Oil
1tsp Baking powder
1tsp Vanilla sugar
2nos Apples (chopped finely)
1/2cup Chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350F...Transfer the yogurt in a bowl and wash the yogurt cup..Keep aside,we need it for measuring the other ingredients..mix both the flour and baking powder and keep aside..
Add the eggs, sugar and beat everything until they turns soft, now add the vanilla sugar, oil and yogurt to the sugar-egg mixture and beat again everything for a while...now add the flour and stir well until everything get well mixed.
Meanwhile mix a tsp of flour to the finely chopped apples and mix it well, this helps the apples not to get down once the batter starts baking..add the chocolate chips, floured apple chunks finally to the cake batter and pour this batter into a greased baking pan, springle few apple chunks over the batter and bake for 35-40minutes in middle rack..
