I am a chocoholic person, anything with chocolate are quite like medicines for me after a long day, am getting much addict to dark black chocolate nowadays and they are rich in iron and less in calories than milk chocolates,i always have my chocolate tablets in my pantry and a chocolate bar was laying since a week, instead of having i prepared this chocolate tart two days back for our desserts...do i need to say how they tastes?? no words they were really delicious, just with simple ingredients this tart was simply divine also too rich..i used puff pastry sheet for preparing this tart which turns the tart more delicious, can also use simply pastry sheet to prepare this tart..This tart goes to For the Love Of Chocolates a chocolate event by Poornima of Tasty Treats..
1no Puff Pastry Sheet
1cup Chocolate pieces
1cup Fresh cream (low fat)
1no Egg
2tbsp Sugar
Preheat the oven at 350F, arrange the puff pastry sheet in a tart mould and place an aluminum foil inside the pastry sheet, spread the dry peas over the foil equally..bake now the pastry sheet in over for 10 minutes, until they get slightly cooked, this keep the pastry sheet stiff while pouring the chocolate-cream mixture..
Heat in simmer the low fat fresh cream and add the chocolate pieces, sugar..stir continously until the chocolates get well mixed, put off the stove...now add the egg and whisk quickly before the egg gets cooked, now the chocolate mixture will be silky like texture..pour this chocolate cream over the partially cooked pastry sheet, bake again for 10 minutes, until the chocolate mixture get thicken( if u touch the chocolate they shouldnt stick ur fingers), let them cool..Keep them in fridge for atleast two hours..
Serve chilled either with fruits salad or with a scoop of vanilla icecream!
