Prawns Thokku/ Prawns Spicy Fry

Spicy, tasty Prawns thokku..excellent side dish for any sort of rice dishes..easy to prepare within few minutes with simple ingredients..amazing side dish to rice with rasam..my one of the favourite dish with prawns..


1cup Cleaned Prawns
2nos Onion Chopped
2nos Tomato Chopped
1tsp Fennel seed
5nos Garlic pods
1/4tsp Turmeric powder
1tsp Red chilly powder
Salt
5nos Curry leaves
Oil

Heat oil in a pan..add the chopped onion to the hot oil, stir them until they turns transculent, meanwhile grind fennel seeds n garlic pods into bit coarsely paste.. add the garlic n fennel fine paste,chopped tomatoes n turmeric powder to the onion n stir it well...

Once the oil gets separates from the veggies, add the cleaned prawns, red chilly powder n curry leaves n stir them until they change the colour..close the pan with lid n put the stove in medium flame..prawns may leave water so no need to add water at all..check for the salt..cook until the water evaporates n the oil get separates..
