Prawn with potato, an awesome combination as curry, this curry was one of favourite, my mom used to prepare them by spluttering mustard seeds n urad dal, the typical way of preparing this dish, but i want to try them without usual ingredients, changed the ingredients as my preference, prepared them with a bit spicy as well as with enough masalas, goes very well with lemon rasam...
1cup Prawns
1cup Prawns
2nos Potatoes
1no Onion(chopped)
1no tomato(chopped)
5nos curry leaves
2tsp Coriander leaves(chopped)
Oil
Salt
To Grind:
3tsp Poppy seeds
1tsp Cumin seeds
1tsp Fennel seeds
2tsp Coriander seeds
5nos Dry Red chillies
5nos Garlic pods
Grind finely all the ingredients given in To Grind List with enough water..
Wash thoroughly the prawns n keep aside, cut the potatoes as small cubes..
Heat enough oil in a pan, add the chopped onions n tomatoes with enough salt..stir them until the onions turns transculent, add the prawns and cubed potatoes to the onion n stir them for a while until they turns rose..add the grounded paste n cook until the oil gets separates, add the curry leaves n cilantro leaves..
Serve hot as side for any choice of rice dishes..
