Quinoa is one of my favourite grain after rolled oats. I have been preparing many delicious, healthy dishes out of this incredible grains since a long. And this grain is completely versatile, yes you can dish out many fabulous healthy snacks to sweets with this grains. When i picked All that come round are laddoos as theme for this week's blogging marathon, i couldnt stop myself to dish out some delightful laddoos out of this tiny nutty grains. To make this ultimate laddoos more healthier, i couldnt stop myself to add some dry roasted flaxseeds to this simple laddoos. Both flaxseeds and quinoa works awesome together to prepare these cuties.
Prefect to enjoy after a meal or else to serve as evening snacks, this protein rich laddoos can be prepared in a jiffy. You doesn't need any fancy ingredients to dish out this sweet balls. Though i opted for ghee to roll these cuties, you can still replace ghee with milk in case if you dont feel like making this laddoos with ghee. Entirely prepared with ghee, these laddoos stay prefect for more than a week in room temperature if they are conserved properly. Trust me you just cant stop yourself with a laddoo, yes these cuties are extremely addictive.Though the colour of these sweet balls looks bit dull in colour, they tastes extremely delicious.
1+1/4cups Quinoa
1/4cup Flaxseeds
1/2cup Powdered sugar
1/2cup Ghee
1/2tsp Cardamom powder
10nos Cashew nuts (chopped)
Dry roast the quinoa until a nice aroma comes from. Add the flaxseeds to the hot pan and dry roast for few secons.
Grind the roasted quinoa and flaxseeds together.
In a mixing bowl, add the roasted quino-flaxseed, powdered sugar, and cardamom powder.
Fry the chopped cashew nuts in one tablespoon of ghee until golden brown.
Add the cashew nuts to the flour mixture in the mixing bowl.
Heat the remaining ghee in low flame, slowly add the ghee to the flour mixture.
When the mixture is warm enough, start making small lemon round balls.
Finish the remaining flour by making the laddoos. Arrange the laddoos in an air tightened box.
Enjoy.

Love the healthy dose of ingredients to make the perfect looking cuties, as you have rightly described. Nothing beats homemade ladoos taste and I am a big fan of any ladoos made at home, sugar can be controlled and a lot of things can be added to make it healthy. Lovely share!
